Rhythm Tap Fun and current style of tapping for boys and girls that focuses on rhythms and intricate footwork, creating a percussion instrument out of the dancer’s feet!. This is a beginner’s class where the tappers add their voice by “scatting” with their feet. Rhythm tap tends to be a heavier or harder-hitting form of tap than Broadway tap, and sounds are made not only with the bottom of the shoe, but also with the back, sides, and tip. Kids are able to wear tap shoes or hard sole tennis shoes for this class. Moolah Matters.. Dreams Workshop The workshop will teach your kids: That moolah matters... How to have so much money you won't EVER have to ask anyone for money again! How to set goals and achieve them Realize that your dreams CAN become reality Visualizing and Creating Dream Boards Be Your Own Idol!.. Performance Workshop The workshop will: Allow the kids to pick out their own songs Provide vocal coaching/critiquing Microphone techniques Staging Possible choreography ( Depending on song choice) Perform on the last day of camp in front of an audience Theatresports is a form of improvisational theatre which uses the format of a competition for dramatic effect. Opposing teams will perform scenes based on class or instructors suggestions. The content of the Theatresports scenes are often structured games which also double as entertainment and training exercises. Your kids will have a blast, using their imagination in exciting ways during this week!
