Class activities focus specifically on training the voice, body and mind to be a unified instrument of dramatic and comedic expression. Students participate in voice and body warm-up exercises, improvisations and sensory games that encourage the expanded use of one’s creative imagination within a theatrical context. Group scenes are introduced which challenge the class to perform as characters within an ensemble. The scenes are taken from Musicals from around the world. These scenes are studied, rehearsed and then performed at the end of each session. These classes will help to develop the child’s confidence to perform in front of others.
