Middle School Hangout

Arts is offering a safe place that will allow your middle schoolers
to interact and socialize with other middle schoolers while enabling
you to have a night out also!
We will be offering twice a month, a place from 7-10pm where the kids
can dance to a live DJ ( we are even teaching FREE hip hop classes
the first 30 min of the night), can eat, (we will have pizza and drinks
and healthy snacks all for $1) and we will have an area for open mic
for self expression through poetry, readings, rapping, and even Karaoke!
And we will eventually have a gaming section where competitions can
take place.
We are seeking
high school volunteers that want to positively influence the middle
schoolers as helpers and we will provide community service hours to
them.
We are also seeking
parent volunteers that would like to assist in ensuring ALL of the
kids have a great time.
We just want to give the kids a safe place in the community that they
can call their own and hangout and meet new friends and to have a
place for a positive outlet for their creativity!
