buildings, pyramids, bridges, tunnels, towers, and more. Build motorized
cars, trains, buses, and trucks; race them; crash them; repair them.
Explore the many possibilities of LEGO™ building systems while
learning useful construction techniques.
Engineering FUNdamentals
with LEGOs™

Engineering Fundamentals Level 1
1 PM - 4 PM
$160 per week
Design and build motorized machines,
catapults, pyramids, demolition derby cars, truss and suspension bridges,
buildings, and other constructions. Explore concepts in physics, mechanical
engineering, structural engineering, and architecture while playing
with your favorite creations. This is a hands-on and minds-on class
suitable for LEGO novices to “maniacs.”

Junkyard Challenges
with LEGOs™

Junkyard Chalenges
1 PM - 4 PM
$160 per week
Your team will compete to design and build the fastest, strongest, smallest, largest, lightest, heaviest, most maneuverable, most durable, and coolest machines and structures to accomplish a variety of tasks. Success in the competition will necessitate construction of trucks, bridges, elevators, bulldozers, conveyor belts, and other motorized and alternatively powered contraptions to overcome obstacles. Familiarity with the LEGO® Technic building system is desirable and can be obtained by attending FUNdamentals camp.
Purpose
of Camps
During these camps we strive to build problem-solving skills,
provide an opportunity for creative expression, foster a greater
appreciation of how things work, and encourage the qualities
of inquisitiveness, self reliance, and self confidence in
children. We do this in the context of fun-filled engineering
and architectural projects, activities that both the children
and the instructors enjoy!
The
instructors all have engineering and/or teaching backgrounds,
but more importantly they all share a common enthusiasm for
kids, engineering, and LEGO™.
